Tracing their roots

Last week I had a couple stayed in our bed and breakfast, Eonish Lodge, from U. S. A. tracing their ancestors in Cavan. Talking with my husband he was able to direct them to the local graveyard where he believed that realities were buried. Sean(my husband) has lived in the area all his life and would know people in the are very well and loves helping people looking for their ancestors.   That week end, blessing of the graves was talking place in our parish and this couple attended and stood by the grave hoping some other relative would also be there. Would you believe, they made contact with a second cousin. This cousin brought them home for dinner and  both couples had a great time tracing their roots. Two very happy people returned to U.S.A.

What a lovely story! I can just imagine how your visitors will describe their experience, and your helpfulness to their friends and family.
