The Marketing & Promotions workshop took place today 19th May. We had a full attendance once again which shows the dedication Killeshandra has of making this project a success. Today we discussed on how to market and promote our area to the anglers. We are confident that Killeshandra is an angler’s paradise and we know we can give them an angling holiday of brilliance
We had good interaction with each other, learning how to put holiday packages together. Anglers will sometimes want to bring their families and we will aim to provide families with a package holiday to include walking golfing canoeing, tennis , crazy golf and guided nature trails, to name but a few. We are lucky now to have a number of qualified angling guides in the area to assist first time anglers and set them on the right path to catch that fish.
They hub group are meeting next week to expand on what we have learned and put into action some of the ideas discussed at the workshop.
