Spring is the most wonderful time of the year. I love watching the countryside coming to life. Daffodils are everywhere and what a display they make. Wild primroses and buttercups are in every hedgerow. Trees are budding and this is when nature tells us there is a reason to go on with life. We had a lovely sunny day for Saint Patrick’s Day. Killeshandra had a good parade with a lot of floats from local business and organisations. It is great what a small town can do when the community come together. One little blip on our day was we had a boat and engine stolen from the lake in front of our home. It is a warning to everyone to be security conscious at all times with their homes and property.
